Dinamita Post is the Mexican post-production house in charge of this award-winning project, which has received multiple prizes and recognitions for its excellence in integrating music and cultural diplomacy. 

“Fandango at the Wall” has been acclaimed for its ability to unite people from the United States and Mexico through music, overcoming physical and cultural barriers. The documentary follows the story of Jorge Francisco Castillo, a retired librarian who organizes the Fandango Fronterizo Festival, an annual event that celebrates the son jarocho music of Veracruz and has grown into a significant movement on both sides of the border. 

The project, led by maestro Arturo O’Farrill, has received the following awards and recognitions: 

    • Grammy Award: Best Latin Jazz Album for the live album recorded in New York. 
    • Latin Billboard Music Awar

 

  • Best Tropical Music Album. 

 

  • World Music Critics Award: Best Music Documentary. 
  • Special Recognition from the Tribeca Film Festival: For Innovation in Music Documentaries. 
  • World Music Critics Association Award: Best Documentary of the Year. 

 

 In summary, “Fandango at the Wall” stands out for the collaboration of Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra with prominent musicians of son jarocho and other genres. 

The project showcases the skill and passion of artists such as Regina Carter, Akua Dixon, Antonio Sánchez, Villalobos Brothers, Rahim AlHaj Trio, Sahba Motallebi, Ana Tijoux, and Mandy Gonzales, who create a unique musical experience that transcends borders.

MGM International TV ha adquirido los derechos de distribución en todo el mundo (excluyendo SVOD en América Latina) a la serie de comedia de choque cultural “Herederos Por Accidente”, un gran éxito en el servicio de transmisión mexicano Claro Video, una subsidiaria de la empresa de telecomunicaciones del multimillonario Carlos Slim, América Móvil.

Como parte del acuerdo, el estudio también aseguró los derechos de formato en todo el mundo y está desarrollando una adaptación de la serie para el mercado estadounidense.

The truth is, a lot of us had already been working from home or, more accurately, working with remote teams in film and video post-production—and in those terms, remote workflows have evolved over time.

We developed Frame.io as a cloud-based video work-sharing platform five years ago—not because we planned for people to be forced to work remotely, but because we wanted to enable the kind of creative partnerships that can happen when things like time zones and distance become irrelevant.
